Ear Works 4 is licensed per Office and per Concurrent User. Each office can have an unlimited number of Locations.
An Office is an administrative entity with a distinct identity: logo, name, address, phone number, supplier account, third party identification and so on.
A Location is an activity center associated with an office. A Location operates under the umbrella of the Office and uses the Office's identity (logo, name, address and so on).
For example a clinic operating in city X can send a clinician in a different town Y several times a month to perform services for local clients. In this scenario the clinic will be an Office with two locations: one in city X and one in town Y.
A Concurrent User is any active login at any given time. If a clinic has 3 user licenses then only a maximum of 3 users can be logged in at the same time. There's an unlimited number of users defined in the system, the licensing restriction only applies to the number of the users logged in. Each install comes with 2 concurrent user licenses. Additional licenses are purchased separately.
User Licenses: EW4 comes with 2 user licenses. You can install it on as many computers as you like but only 2 people can use it at the same time. Additional concurrent user licenses cost $300 each
